I agree with you whole heartedly.  The problem is that while we assume that everyone here is a citizen, that&#039;s now not always the case.  

It still stands that we have immigration laws spelled out that we don&#039;t enforce. That is no others fault but our own.

And contrary to the media, we don&#039;t have an immigration problem.  We have an illegal immigration problem.</description>

I have said it many times, but in the US when we see a imigrant, for the most part we assume that they are a US citizen first.  Sure our country has a lot of prejudice and class issues, but in reality everybody has a chance here.  We all are equal in the pursuit of happiness, besides maybe England and Canada, there really isn&#039;t too many other countries out there in the world that can even try to say the same thing.  That is why I think we all have high hopes for the US.</description>
