Interesting fact about Schering-Plough is that they are in the middle of acquiring Intervet, an animal drug company.

I don't know Grant if I would invest in Pharma for a while. That sector is like a big hit or big miss stock selection. Nervous investors rule that sector. If they have something great, investors raise the stock big time, but at the first hint of bad news the stock tumbles even bigger. Even good companies like Merck, which has a spread out protfolio of drugs, gets hammered everytime bad news comes on a single drug even if it is doing well with other drugs.

I stay out of Pharma for those reasons. Of course the potential could be huge if a company comes up with the next widely used drug.
