Get Your Bloomberg Fix Online. Free.
July 30th, 2006 by Grant in: InvestingIf you’re sitting at your computer all day, isolated from the financial world and shunned from your television, I have good news.
Bloomberg.com has a free live streaming TV feed on their website. Not only can you receive the U.S. feed, but also Bloomberg feeds from all over the world in various languages.
The interface is easy to use, and there are no third party downloads needed, as the feed runs right off the Microsoft Media Player and is embedded in a browser page.
From video page, you can also see a schedule, podcasts, audio/video reports, and Bloomberg radio.
Bloomberg television operates 24/7, and reaches more than 200 million homes via 7 networks in seven languages.
It’s interesting to note that Bloomberg is one of the first media sources to offer a free live feed on the internet. I suspect that it won’t be long before other sources follow suit.

Took me a few tries to get the streaming video to come through but finally worked! Cool!

I still like CNBC over Bloomberg. I like how they stream their data across the top, and cut to market data all the time. Seems like bloomberg is more of an interview type program, with a little market data thrown in there at times. Jamie

Jamie, I am with you on this one. I like the data that comes through CNBC over bloomberg, but I do like the interview-style formatting as well…
